The social rank, the age, the financial possibilities, where someone comes from, the fame that precedes him, are completely unimportant to me when I meet with a person for a session. I want to really meet the pure human being in his vulnerability at the moment of the session and walk a part of the way with him. An encounter at eye level, mutual respect on several levels is very important to me. It is a beautiful experience when a positive development for both results from this encounter after a session.
For me, it’s a major challenge to tie someone who is wearing a full rubber suit, because the direct physical contact is blocked by a layer of latex. Part of the communication is missing—or rather, it is filtered. I have to place much more responsibility in my model’s hands and need a high level of mutual trust so that I can fully trust the process and immerse myself in the session.
