Trauma in a session

Trauma in a session
In earlier cultures there were shamans who had a keen sense of whether someone was having problems with trauma. In order to gain access to this trauma, you then used trance techniques (e.g. hypnosis). They rarely used this powerful tool and only when they felt they could be of good help to you. After all, they had no explicit psychological training and therefore no scientific foundation from which they could use the building blocks if something went wrong.
In a trusting, intensively developing bondage session, it can always happen that the door to a trauma opens. This chance is favored by the trance-like state into which the bunny can come. The sensation of being touched or certain “scenes” are other triggers.
As a responsible rigger you should be aware of this and only go into a session if you can hold that energy. As a responsible bunny, you should address these traumas before the session if you are aware of them.
For me, aftercare begins with the time after the ropes are no longer on the body, which means right after the actual bondage. They are an important part of the session for me. I know from experience that a session usually has an after-effect of up to two days. During this time, I like to communicate more intensively with my models. In rare cases, it can also happen that I extend this period of after-care for up to a week or even several months.
